Project Overview

A major client needed to increase its storage capacity for raw materials and finished goods at its concentrates unit to support production growth and reduce operating costs. We acted as an extension of the client's project team, leading the end-to-end management and serving as the link between operational requirements and technical execution. The primary challenge was designing the rack layout that met the international standards of the insurer FM Global for handling flammable products in high-bay racking configurations.

Our Company Scope

  • Project management: Strategic project planning, work package definition, and management of budget, scope, schedule, and quality. This included understanding operational and regulatory requirements, with continuous reporting to stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment.

  • Fire protection: Direct management with FM Global to validate warehouse safety standards, specifically focusing on protection systems for racks exceeding current regulatory heights in flammable material areas.

  • Site supervision: On-site technical direction and control to ensure project constructability under strict safety (Zero Accidents), quality, and budget standards.
